2008 Season Gets Underway

The Fall 2008 season starts in mid-August for the U16 and U19 divisions. Teams in those divisions start early so that they can finish in time for the high school season. Teams in all other age groups will begin play on Saturday, September 6th. Millbrae AYSO will host it's annual Opening Day event beginning at 8:30am on Sept. 6th at Taylor Field. Players should be at the field by 8:00am to get lined up for the Parade of Teams.

Registration for Fall 2008

Millbrae AYSO''s in-person registration for Fall 2008 is complete. Registration took place on five dates in May and June. We will continue to accept registrations on a space-available basis. For more information, please send an email to the League Registrar (registrar@millbraeayso.com) or leave a message on the league hotline (650-697-0150).

Millbrae AYSO has 600 players that range in age from 4 years old to 18 years only.

Referee and Coach Clinics

One of the great things about being a volunteer in AYSO is that you can receive an amazing amount of training for free. If you would like to become a coach or referee, there are clinics being conducted in and around Millbrae year-round. Please use the Referee and Coach tabs to get information about upcoming clinics.

Millbrae AYSO

Region 145 - Area 2B

Millbrae AYSO has been providing a high-quality youth soccer experience for more than 20 years. Millbrae is located next to the San Francisco Airport in San Mateo County.

Teams in the U5-U10 divisions play other Millbrae AYSO teams while teams in the U12-U19 divisions play their games against teams from Area 2B and 2N.

 

AYSO's Five Philosophies Separate Us From The Pack

Everyone Plays

Our program's goal is for kids to play soccer-so we mandate that every player on every team must play at least half of every game.

Balanced Teams

Each year we form new teams as evenly balanced as possible-because it is fair and more fun when teams of equal ability play.

Open Registration

Our program is open to all children between 4 and 19 years of age who want to register and play soccer. Interest and enthusiasm are the only criteria for playing.

Positive Coaching

Encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment by the players and ultimately leads to better-skilled and better-motivated players.

Good Sportsmanship

We strive to create a positive environment based on mutual respect rather than a win-at-all-costs attitude, and our program is designed to instill good sportsmanship in every facet of AYSO.
